Hi everyone! Applications for UAMS CRNA for fall 2024 have opened. I was looking for a forum for this application cycle but didn't see one and decided to start one! Planning on applying and was seeing if anyone else was as well. Good luck to everyone!

This happened last year too. Didn't hear anything about interviews until mid February with the interviews taking place first couple weeks in March. We've had a lot of snow/ice and bad weather. The entire state shuts down when that happens. They also receive a lot of applications and read through each one. They'll let us know soon guys!

Hey guys, 

I just spoke with our faculty and they had an update! This cycle has been beyond hectic while they've compiled and initiated our pilot courses in the new Blackboard program, weathered a Winter storm that resulted in multiple days of closed campus, and kept all of our cohorts' instruction on schedule by shifting to remote learning. They were able to tell me that this cycle yielded an amazing number of applications- twice as many as last year! They said that each application deserves a fair review, which we all know requires time. They are still working through the application reviews. Considering the number of applicants, they said that they expect to begin calls sometime next week and they empathize with the level of anxiety that accompanies the waiting process. They also mentioned that they are aware that interviewees might have to travel for their interview and they are working hard to finish their review so that arrangements can be planned. Keep hanging in there. Keep preparing for your interview. Verbalize your answers and practice. I hope this helps! Best of luck to you all.
