Hi everyone! Applications for UAMS CRNA for fall 2024 have opened. I was looking for a forum for this application cycle but didn't see one and decided to start one! Planning on applying and was seeing if anyone else was as well. Good luck to everyone!

nothing here, either.

honestly, I'm not entirely sure they're open. I'm about 20-25 minutes from campus and most of the public school districts have remained closed. my kids got a whole extra week of Winter break on top of the 3 weeks in december (send help…)

I'm not sure if the campus has opened back up. I'm itching to hear, though. this is a special kind of torture ?

good morning, friends!

I'm wondering if anyone has inquired RE an update on the timeline that we should be hearing back? I'm wondering if last week's weather situation is going to delay things. I'm tempted to call, but also don't want to be annoying about it.

or if @DW_RN has heard anything else?

(I hate to bother you, I know you have plenty of studying and a life to live)

@pass.dat.gas I'm in class to day with them and I'll ask for you guys.

I asked yesterday and was told, "We're working on it." It seemed like it was stressful for them, so I didn't push further. They did say that interviews will be the 1st and 2nd week of March, though. I'm sorry y'all, I wish I had a more detailed update for you. The waiting is so hard.

While you guys are waiting, be sure that you're contemplating your answers to interview questions. I read so many different blog posts and interview articles to prepare for the interview. One thing I didn't do (and really wished afterward that I had) was to actually verbalize the responses. Get with your friend/spouse/family whatever and have them ask you questions from a list of interview questions. Say your answers out loud. See where you stumble. We put so much into our application and preparing for the interview. When I walked through those doors, I was shaking even though I felt that I had done everything I could to be ready. Use your time well while you wait. You can be anxious and preparing while you wait or you can just be anxious. You can do this!
