Hi everyone! Applications for UAMS CRNA for fall 2024 have opened. I was looking for a forum for this application cycle but didn't see one and decided to start one! Planning on applying and was seeing if anyone else was as well. Good luck to everyone!

I also applied with about a year of ICU experience and 5 years of ED. They might just be looking for something else that my application did not have. 260 applications; 16 class size ?

I'm interviewing with two other programs so I'm not too hurt about their decision.

If it makes you feel any better, they had over 500 applicants this year!

has anyone who has not received interview notification but also has not received a denial email contacted the admissions office? now I'm half wondering if my email was incorrectly typed in for a denial letter

@Crna6969 @Alynn16 — fingers crossed for us. I'm neurotic and just called to verify they had the correct contact information for me. I didn't get any concrete answers, but she said things are being sent out in "batches,” I didn't want to keep hammering her with questions. I just hope we hear before close of office today.

Yes! The school is reasonably priced and has a later closing date for applications than a lot of other schools. Last year they had 260 applications, this year was more than double. They read every single application. If you haven't gotten a call or email yet, don't despair. Keep in mind that some of the people they call to interview may have accepted a spot in another program between the time of their application and the interview call. So that opens an interview spot for someone else. Don't lose hope ❤️

I still see some open slots so that could definitely be how they're doing it! The waiting is agonizing especially when you know other people have gotten their answer. I definitely cried yesterday just waiting and hoping for a call. I hope you guys hear back soon!
