Reaching out to see if anyone has applied and received an interview. I have one at the beginning of December, they allow you to do it remotely which is a plus.

Thanks! Same to you! Yes, I'll be interviewing remotely as well. Seemed pointless to travel out to Arizona to sit in front of a computer to interview anyways Do you happen to know if all clinicals can be completed in SoCal or not? Or if we're required to complete some rotations in Arizona? It's hard to find much info on the program.

Thanks. Yea that is the burning question. Definitely plan to ask that during the interview. I'm curious since it's a hybrid program how often have to go to AZ. Although out of state tuition is

ridiculous.

Finally heard back from Univ of Arizona. No selected. No reason was given. The email said it was a very competitive process. I'm waiting to hear back from Murray State University, Univ of Miami, Marquette University and Union University. Barry University will not review applications without the GRE so i am scheduled to take the GRE in december. Using Magoosh for the GRE review. I hear its amazing. We will find out.

Good luck with your aspirations. This journey to CRNA is a marathon. You have a good amount of apps in, so that's great.

Anyone get accepted from interview last week?

CONGRATS. Going to PM you.

I got your message but i am unable to respond. Mind sending your email, and I will contact you.

I’m currently working on my application for The University of Arizona Nurse Anesthesia program. I was wondering if I should include a letter of intent even though it does not specify as a requirement. Any help will be appreciate it.

Hello! I talked with the program coordinator today. I think they ask you the questions on nursingCAS so you shouldn't need a letter of intent.

I applied as well. Here is what I learned by talking with the program coordinator today. She took her time with me and was very helpful.

They have multiple clinical sites: TX, AZ, CA, NM, and OH.

Their didactic learning is mostly online through a form of video chat "Zoom". Except their first anatomy course is on campus, I believe she said 5 weeks. This is different than their RISE program for graduate students. They also require 16 hrs on campus simulation lab participation each semester.

Their class size is 18 max. They plan on interviewing 60 people this year. They use a point system when evaluating applications. They give points for shadowing experience.

They are being re-evaluated by the COA in April.

They do require a "DNP Project", which starts your second year and a committee of faculty members help you with it.

They keep up with their students regularly via the online courses, committee meetings, and clinical sites.

I hope this helps!
