I figured it would be a good idea to start a thread for 2016.
I am so nervous about applying but so excited about starting nursing school next year. My situation is a little unique. I am also applying to two schools in the US for the Accelerated BSN/MSN programs and not sure if that is a good idea since I will come back here anyways. Leaving my kids and husband for 21 months is so hard so hence my reason for applying to U of A.
I will be retaking my Micro and Physiology to get As and not Bs. I just want to make sure I am competitive enough since my degree and pre-reqs are from the US.
I'm getting a little worried because people have been telling me that the nursing field is getting over saturated, and that jobs are becoming scarce in Alberta
I recently been admitted to After Degree Nursing Program at Camrose....Is there anyone from Edmonton who will start fall 2016 at Camrose site......????

Hello, I'm in the similar situation. I finished my prerequisite courses and got my degree in US. I'm applying University of Calgary and Alberta. I don't know which one is more competitive.

Hi Everyone,
I got acceptance yesterday! I applied in Feb and finished my last prereqs (Anatomy, Physio, MMI) in April. My AGPA was 3.79 for the last 24 credits.
Do we have a facebook group yet?
