I got my acceptance letter contingent upon my background and drug screen for the University of Alabama's PMHNP program starting in the Spring. Has anyone else here applied to PMHNP program at Alabama?

I already completed the background and drug screen as well. Have you received the email with all of the required documentation to be uploaded into castlebranch?

Not the PMHNP but I applied to the AGACNP/FNP program, hoping that I hear back soon.

A few days before the priority deadline, July 11th or so I think.

Did you get an interview?

No, never heard anything about an interview, I thought I was decently qualified too but maybe I'm not as qualified as I thought.

From what I've heard, if you got an interview, that pretty much guarantees your acceptance. I contacted (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), and she said they look at the statement of purpose and the interview as the strongest points back before I submitted my application.

Good to know, hopefully I'll qualify for next semester, I'll have some charge nurse experience by then so hopefully that'll help me.
