Has anyone done this program? I'm looking into it and it seems great but there are hardly any updates reviews. Thanks!

I am trying to finalize my decision about United States University for attending the FNP program. Does anyone know if they have a bridge program for ADN nurses who have a BA in another field? Does anyone know of any Florida resident that has graduated from the USU FNP program and been able to get their license in Florida. I wanted to make sure that it is safe to enroll being a Florida resident myself and wondering what their experience was like getting licensure in Florida after graduation. Last time I checked I believe they were CCNE credentialed so no issue there. So if anyone can answer these questions, I would greatly appreciate it.
I have a classmate In the program now enrolled from Florida, didn’t seem to be a problem from that state
I started too, October 2019, just finished the second class. Seems like a good program so far. Friendly helpful staff and a good curriculum

Just finishing up my first course MSN-560. Is the second course the same outline as the first course as far as discussion on Th/Sat and replies, quiz and assignments due on Monday? Thanks and congrats!
Congrats on finishing 560! And yes the second class is pretty much the exact same format however no quizzes or PowerPoints to make, 2 research papers and the rest discussion questions

Awesome, thanks brotha! Good luck on class #3.
Please please please update me! I am very interested in this program!
For those of you who have gone through the program, can you please share your experience securing clinicals during a program. The program is tempting due to its affordability and high pass rate, however none of it will matter without ability to be certain in clinical placement. Thank you . Your input is much appreciated!

Hi,
For USU, you will need to look for your own preceptors...they have a list of clinics. You can call one by one and ask if they are taking students.
Thanks

I had applied to several universities and what I have found is even those who say they guarantee you placement still generally rely on you helping with that. Some placements I asked about were three hours away or even out of state in some cases. I am not in a saturated area, per se, but I am in an area where the main teaching hospital holds contracts with most clinical facilities for their APRN programs making it difficult at best to find sites. I do believe that we will all find what we need at the time we need it.
