I don't know that my opinion is glowing but here you go. I have only worked for UHC 4 1/2 months, I have a friend that does telephonic service coordination that suggusted the company to me, she loves it. I am a service coordinator for nursing facility members in Texas. It's like any job. There's good and not so good, do the good things about it out way the not so good? In my case they do. I work from home, I go out 2 times a week to visit members. Some people really don't like being isolated at home that long so it's something to consider. There are deadlines to meet and the company is huge, it is hard at times getting the information I need if I am having to rely on someone else. Or if I need to find the person that does certain things can be difficult. Benefits are ok, nothing great to win you over. So far I am really enjoying it! Hope that helps.
I think just describing a typical day in whatever area you are working will give great insight into the job. I see nothing wrong with talking about employers whether that be insurance companies, hospitals or agencies. Even Glassdoor asks for reviews. Just don't give generalities like " managers difficult to work with" or " workload is heavy". Say something specific. We are medical professionals.

I have an interview coming up with UHG and have read very mixed reviews on not only this site but others about the work and expectations. Most of the posts are over a year old however. I would love to hear from someone who currently works for the company or did recently and get their point of view.
Also any tips for the interviewing process would be much appreciated!!
I live in Iowa if you need to know that.....
