Forensic nursing? or how about Surgeons First Assistant. Haven't been either one, but I think they are a little less known.

How about occupational health? Working in a large factory, such as an automotive plant?
That's a job I would love to have. =)
Some amusement parks probably use nurses.
Cruise ships use nurses.
Student Health Clinic at a University.

Hi,
transport/flight nurses, embassy nurses (they actually live at the US embassies (? sp) overseas to take care of ambassadors). Good luck!

My husband was a nurse on the north atlantic ferry that linked my province to the mainland. It is a 17 hour ferry ride and he seen his fair share of emergencies and a LOT of nausea. Now he works for the same company but is an RN on an oil rig in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. You can message me with any questions if you like...

Not a job I have had myself - but a nurse I worked with once had a job delivering medical services to remote areas in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. Not many nurses take a float plane to work.
As for me - I work in a state prison. I will be glad to answer any questions if that will help you.
Thank you so much everyone!

I have heard they have an RN on the filming locations of all movies and tv shows. That would be fun.

I once served as a on call nurse for a large religious conference that came to my town. It was a two week conference and all I had to do was carry a beeper. Only got beeped for minor things like bee stings and upset tummies. It was a cool job.

I worked in Afghanistan, Iraq, and UAE providing remote medical support and air/ground medical evacuation care. The most challenging and interesting job I have ever had to date.

I had a nursing instructor who did research for NASA.....sounded pretty neat to me. I also imagine that professional sports teams need nurses, and as a New England native, I would love to be on the sidelines in the event that Tom Brady needed some help with that ACL..... :)
