Hey there!

Interviewing at Union in January! I will be from out of state. Looking for advice in regards to the distance of the various clinical sites. They appear to be quite far from Union University. Are you expected to drive 90-120mins to clinical daily? Or is housing provided? Is class attendance required if staying near your distant clinical site?

Thanks in advance!

Congrats to each of you that have been accepted! I am a current student and I can attest that you have been selected by a phenomenal program with professors that truly want you to succeed. Feel free to holler if you have any questions. Those of you that are still waiting to hear something, don't stop the grind. Although it is so easy to give up, you have what it takes! It is a matter of how bad you truly want it. Keep your head up, remain grounded and try again until you reach that ultimate goal! It'll be SO worth it. Remember, all you need is ONE YES and that'll be the first day of the rest of your life. That YES is closer than you think, the ball is in your court! God bless!

Don't be to stressed out about clinical sites. The first year it would be best to live in Jackson, second year you can go to clinical sites in Jackson and Memphis. They have housing for students that do clinical in Memphis for I believe they told me 7 bucks a night. These questions will be answered for you during your preinterview with students. Write down all these questions and before your real interview you meet with students and they can answer all your questions. I am from Texas and I felt the exact same way but the program is setup so well! Trust me! Plus you go to class 2-3 times per week.

Good luck!
