Any advice for a transfer student trying to get into Trinitas ? Do you have any good words of wisdom or tips or even a heads up ? Has anyone taken NURE130 in the summer and would that be a bad idea to do so ? I can't wait to hear from you all.
anyone ???

Hi, im actually starting nure 130 on the 30th but my friend is soon finished w. Program she loves it, i heard 130 isnt hard so it should definitely be doable my cousin will be taking it in the summer, i transfered here last semester very easy transfer they took all my credits only classes i needed to take was the pre-req adm 110 super easy computer class & chem 114 which isnt so bad depending on the professor u have, i hope this answered ur questions & come to the school its good goodluck !
Congrats!!! I am registered for adm and chem 114 for the spring semester so hopefully all goes well. Im still on the fence about taking 130 in the summer being that it will be condensed. Keep me posted on how it's going for you if you can, best of luck.
I say take the nure 130 in the summer it shouldve be that bad & then u cab start 131 in the fall w. Everybody that did 130 in the spring, u should definitely be fine.
I'll think about it. I really want to but I dont want to rush and mess up and besides I'll be commuting from Nyc while working a part time job. I know summer courses are usually Mon-Thur or Mon-Fri so idk if I can do that plus staying on top of my studies but I will def look into it.
Okayy cool let me know what you decide & im commuting from staten island & work part-time also my class is on saturday 9am to 1pm & i work 3-11 every other weekend so i will be rushing to get to work every other saturday lol it should be fine tho
I def will. I'm sure you will be fine, just keep your mind on nursing and your head in the books. I'll be rooting for you.

Hi I do not know if it is too late to answer this but I am a transfer student with a AS in Biology and Math. I enrolled in May 15 as they accepted all my pre requirements I only had to take ADM 110 and Chemistry 114. I didn't try to get into NURE 130 until I complete at least these two courses so I can dedicate myself to nursing courses only since I work full time.
My recommendations is to take all the pre-req first so you can dedicate all your time to nursing but that is just my opinion. CHE 114 wasn't hard for me at all. However, some people find it challenging. It depends of the professor I guess. If Chemistry is not a strong subject for you then you shouldn't take it with NURE 130. ADM 110 is easy but I think you have too much work to do and my professor make the courses harder than it was. What I did was I took ADM 110 summer 1, Sociology Summer II, and CHE 114 fall'15. While I was in CHE 114 I apply to NURE 130 and was accepted right away. I think you need to keep 2.5 GPA to get accepted into the nursing classes.
If you have any question just send me a message. I ll be glad to answer you. Good luck in your career :-)
Hey @Amilcarnj,
Thanks for responding. Funny thing is I'm in that same situation. I have my AS in biology so my pre req credits transferred over. I'm doing adm 110 and chem 114 this spring so I can apply for the program. I believe the only non nursing courses I have to take after that is child psych and sociology which I might do during the summer and winter. I do plan to take the nursing courses alone so that it can be my main focus. So my thing now is deciding on if I can do Nure130 in the summer.
Hey ladies, I sent you both a pm but I am not sure if you can see it. How is the semester coming along ?

Hi I'm working FT also and I'm starting nure 130 on January, I'd like to know how are u doing so far between work n school. I've heard horrible things that you cannot work while you're in nursing school. How are the class so far? How are the professors? I'm planning to tale night classes and working 7-4pm as a nursing assistant at hackensack hospital. I'd really appreciate any advice.. thanks
