  2. good luck next time...Now you know how the real monster looks like should help in the second try. :- My prayers with you.
  3. As a patient I will stay away from hospitals like that. Money, money, money...when you pay minimum you only care about money not care. That s a big no.
  4. I think it depends how you manage your time. I am just starting NURE 130 this spring 2016. I have been in the school since May'15. My job haven't kill me as some people says but I guess I do manage my time. As long as you find time to read, study and practice your skills I think it should be fine. Many people in my chemistry class where saying class is hard , but while the professor was explaining they were either in LALA land or texting and using their phones. Hopefully that change when they go to nursing otherwise, they will be blaming trinitas for their failure. I think all courses can be challenging if you not spend some hours a day to study. So far, I have been doing pretty good in Union College even I work full time. However, if you study the week before the test you will be in trouble unless you are a genius. My advise to all the students that work full time is that use at least 1 hour or 2 a day for homework, study and assignments . You will have more than 14 hours a week and believe is a lot. Try to do the homework as soon as you get it otherwise, you work will accumulate. HINT: For any class you take there is a syllabus . Follow it, to read ahead of time what is going to be in class the next day. Go over it before class and the professor will be refreshing what you already read to me it make it easier. Anyway good luck in your nursing program.
  5. Hi I do not know if it is too late to answer this but I am a transfer student with a AS in Biology and Math. I enrolled in May 15 as they accepted all my pre requirements I only had to take ADM 110 and Chemistry 114. I didn't try to get into NURE 130 until I complete at least these two courses so I can dedicate myself to nursing courses only since I work full time. My recommendations is to take all the pre-req first so you can dedicate all your time to nursing but that is just my opinion. CHE 114 wasn't hard for me at all. However, some people find it challenging. It depends of the professor I guess. If Chemistry is not a strong subject for you then you shouldn't take it with NURE 130. ADM 110 is easy but I think you have too much work to do and my professor make the courses harder than it was. What I did was I took ADM 110 summer 1, Sociology Summer II, and CHE 114 fall'15. While I was in CHE 114 I apply to NURE 130 and was accepted right away. I think you need to keep 2.5 GPA to get accepted into the nursing classes. If you have any question just send me a message. I ll be glad to answer you. Good luck in your career :-)
