I haven't found a thread for those applying to University of North Georgia BSN this fall! Who applied??
On the bright side... the instructor in one of my classes said that they had received about 550 applications (lower than normal) and that about 150 to 200 of them were from people who weren't ready to go into the program. So they are choosing from a pool of 350 to 400 applicants which is much lower than previous years. Our chances just got better.
And yes, we will have to wait until April to get the letter.
I am a little confused about how they are ranking the applicants. I know its a formula based upon your TEAS and GPA. However does anyone know the point scale? I was told there are 50 points avaliable for the TEAS score, starting at a 100 score and the 50 points for GPA, starting at a 4.0 So what would an 87 on the TEAS be? 37? and what about GPA, for a 3.5? would it be 45 points? I hope the question makes sense!
I checked my email and sadly did not get in. Congratulations to all who did, though! Exciting times! I was put on a wait list back in 2008 and got the call just weeks before first day of classes but could not quit my job. This year's email mentioned if a space comes up in August they would call people but was anyone told they were on the "wait list"? Just curious. I'm sad but I know I just have to try harder and try for 2015!

Yep, I got that email as well. Guess that ends all our confusion on it but it sure is going to be a long month...
