UNF Traditional BSN Fall 2010-2011!

Published

Hi! Anyone else applying to UNF's traditional program this fall? TEAS scores? GPA?

UNF is my first choice - I just got into UCF's program, but I have to make a decision by April 15!

I'm sorry azras82. :(

It said that 550 people applied, the average GPA was 3.7 and average TEAS score was 339.

My prereq GPA was 3.9 and TEAS was 338.8

I didn't get an interview.

not gonna cry over spilled milk though.

*hoping* I get into FSCJ's nursing school

good luck to everyone that got an interview though. you truly deserve it. and to everyone that didn't get in- "if one door opens to another door closed, I hope you keep on walking 'til you find the window"

:redbeathe

I got an interview! :) 9:30 AM! Congrats nadjarea... and good luck meltnpointofwax!

Thanks Esayas! Good luck to you too! And Good Luck to everyone applying at FSCJ! :)

I got a letter! 8:30am! I'm so nervous!!!!!!!!! Can anyone give pointers on what to say or what will be asked?! :uhoh3:

I got my letter and have an interview slot of 10:30. I have 2 friends who are in the program now and I will ask them more about the interview process and let everybody know. I have read a post about the interviews somewhere on allnurses, so I will be looking around here as well.

i was just wondering what was ur GPA and what did you get on the teas

3.92 Prereq GPA and 91% or 92% on TEAS

I spoke with 2 current UNF students, one who is the president of the nursing student association at UNF and will be there the day of the interview. He said to dress professionally (duh?) and that the questions are similar to a job interview...why do you want to be a nurse, conflicts you have had in the past and how you resolved them, etc. Also, both of them indicated that everyone who was selected for an interview is on the same level now...that grades and TEAS score no longer play a part and that the interview results are what dictate who gets a spot. Hope that helps!!! crossing my fingers.

Oh, really?! I was told the interview would only count as 50% (by Beth). Hmm?

that is what I thought too...that at this point the interview was half the points and the combined teas/gpa was the other half. I tried to find that info on the unf webpage and I didn't find it...I was surprised when both the current students stated that those points didn't come into play anymore. Either way, I just hope to do my best on the 25th and see what happens!
