Hello everyone! I just got done with all my pre-reqs and need to take my teas! Who else is applying for this term?????

So excited to meet everyone!

Karenld, I saw earlier that you have kids. I got into accelerated also and I was wondering about the schedule too. I guess we will find out soon! Congrats and how many kids do you have?

I am in! RPL as well!!! Cant wait to meet everyone at taking flight!!

Heathlem: I have two girls, 7.5 and 4. The older one is going into second grade, and the youngest is going into pre-k4.

I got waitlisted :( Feeling pretty down.

if you don't mind me asking, for those who got accepted what were your TEAS scores and GPAs?

Me too. Who knows, we still have a chance. Better than a flat out denial. I bombed the interview. My nerves got the best of me.

Just remember what they have said, the waitlist at UNF is NOT a bad thing. Many have come off the waitlist in the past, some have even been called up the night before or the first day of classes. Just stay ready, and keep your phone on b/c you only have 24 hours to reply if you get called up. As for me, my GPA was a 4.0, but my TEAS was only a 328, which shows just how much the interview counts. Good luck, sending out good vibes to everyone, just stay positive and don't ever give up on your goals/dreams!

Also nike814, I saw previously that you were an out of state applicant, at the interview workshop, someone specifically asked about non-local students that are wait listed and we were told that the school works with them, they understand that not everyone lives here, plus all the other student nurses come together to help out to get students like that situated with last minute housing and what not. I just wanted to let you know that, in case that is one of your fears.

Nike814, my GPA was 3.88 (darn you, statistics class from 2003 that I thought would never really matter) and my teas score was 381. (I test well, always have.)

My GPA was 3.8, I decided not to retake a couple of classes from years ago that I got B''s in and my teas was 386.3.

I was waitlisted also. I know my interview is the major ca use. I felt it walking out. But I am trying to stay positive. They kept saying they go through a significant portion of the waitlist most terms. I guess now it just depends on where on the wait list . And I agree, a flat out denial would have been heartbreaking
