UNF Accelerated BSN Summer 2013

The deadline to apply for UNF's Accelerated BSN program beginning Spring 2013 will be here before we know it (January 15, 2013), which is why I wanted to go ahead and start this topic now. Many of us are taking the TEAS V soon (if we have not already) and finishing up prerequisites (if needed), so I am sure we all have some questions or information to share with each other.

On the Wednesday before the interview I received an acceptance letter from UF's accelerated program! So, I declined the interview. That's one less UNF applicant for someone to compete with!

Looks like last year they updated Tues/Wed of the week after interviews.

Going back to that thread from Summer 2012, it looks like denials went into MyWings on Monday after the Friday interview (around 3 hours from now, my times on here are all wonky), and people who were accepted or or waitlisted saw their statuses change starting Tuesday.

...I'm about to jump out of my skin as it is. Yeesh!

I'm not coming out of my skin because I figure today is not the day, but I still go and look as if there were hope it would be there this early :sarcastic:

Oh, and I can't make heads or tails from the time stamps on this site. I must be in the time zone for Portugal or some such :geek:

Things to do to take our minds off of the misery of anticipation:

  1. Make a legitimate plan to lose 10-15 lbs before orientation.
  2. Clean out your closet and make room for your nursing student wardrobe.
  3. Get out your calendar and start making dates [prior to May 2nd] with all the folks you are going to ignore for the next two years whilst in nursing school.
  4. Make some grocery lists/meal plans that are healthy yet easy enough to get you through nursing school.
  5. Start looking around for sales on a good pair of white shoes.
  6. Tell your friends to stop calling you and asking if you know yet - J then move away from the computer
  7. Make an appointment to get your hair cut/colored etc.. for your nursing “do”
  8. What else…. What else?

I've been trying NOT to do any of that so as not to jinx myself! It doesn't help that I'm stuck at work on a reeeeeeally slow day.

Not yet. Mine still says Departmetal Refer. It sounds like no news is good news today tho...
