UNC BSN May 2014

Has anyone applied for UNC's BSN program which starts this May? I applied and am nervously waiting. Just wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing.

Three kids will definitely keep you busy! Sunday mornings was the only time I was able to volunteer while my husband stayed with the kids. Luckily I was able to volunteer at a local health setting, which I believed help.

BSNhopefulVet - I have to let UNC know before end of next week. The status has not changed on MyUNC, I heard it can take a couple of days. I may have received the mail earlier being I'm close to UNC. Hopefully by the time you return home, you will have something waiting for you :)

Hi all. I also applied for the BSN may 2014 term. I saw that one of you got your acceptance letter already...congrats! I checked the mail and NOTHING for me yet :sniff: So I called SON and they said they mailed out some letters a few days ago and then the rest would be going out next week. Everyone should know by next week by letter and UNC portal. I just hope it's not a bad thing that I didn't get a letter yet. I wonder how they decide which ones went out this week or next....soooo nervous!! I am also a second degree student!

Hello everyone! I just received a letter in the mail today for acceptance. I'm from California so it took a while to get to me. The letter is dated Mar 3 and they want to know if we're going to accept the offer by 14. There is a mandatory pre-orientation session we have to attend on either the 20th or the 22nd of March.

I accidentally started another thread (at least I think I did - not sure how this forum works yet - please forgive me!) for UNC BSN May 2014 students before I found this! I'm a second degree student too but I've just been volunteering a lot and taking prereqs!

Congrats almondhoneybee! I am still waiting on today's mail...I really hope something is in there! Do you know anyone else who has received any notification good or bad?

Nope. I bet we hear this coming week. Traditionally, the undergrads are notified first and then the others. It was unusual for second degree students to hear this early.

I haven't heard anything yet either. I assume the first round went out and they are waiting for the second round. Good luck!

Thanks usmcwife! :) (My brother was in the Marines for 5 years :p ).

Also, BSNhopefulVet, my offer letter said that it may take until March 11 for my offer to show up on UNC portal, so maybe don't start worrying about checking MyUNC till that day?
