Anyone Apply for UMSON for Spring 2017 ???

Is this your first time applying at UMSON? I feel anxious too but that's because my status is still at "complete ready for review" I hope you guys will hear back soon!

Still on Committee Ready- does anyone know when we will know by? Because I am sure the office is off for Thanksgiving.

I Feel you. According to previous threads last yr, some receives the news after thanksgiving or first week of December. I guess it depends how many applicants they are handling

Has anyone heard back today? I applied for Baltimore campus and feel like since I haven't heard anything its time to just think about other options.

In the decision section it would say waitlisted. That's what happened to me for Fall.

I'm still at committee ready. Has anyone else received status change today?

Hello everyone,

I just came across this thread and tried to catch up as best as I could. I received my acceptance via email on yesterday as a provisional-admit (I have one outstanding course in progress).

I also received a phone call this afternoon just to go over steps after being accepted.

I'm a bit nervous, because I kind of wasn't expecting to get accepted and now feel like I need more time to prepare (life happens).

Does anyone know if there's an option to defer my acceptance to maybe the Fall semester? I've been accepted to Shady Grove.

Before you got the email, did your status changed to provisional admit online first?

You can defer to next semester. However it has to be a very good reason such as your in the military. You would need to call them for further details on the reasons (few).

I am also still committee ready it's better than reject or waitlisted though so I'm still optimistic and hopeful!

Well i just got my acceptance letter( I did not recieve a phone call or email) and it says you must get approval to get your acceptance deferred, it says that deferral may be up to one year from admission or from initial application. I would advise you to call the school during business hours, to get more information.
