Anyone Apply for UMSON for Spring 2017 ???

Some people are getting phone calls about their acceptance. Does that mean they're done with majority of acceptance as Lady Grey told us?

Omg this is disturbing my status is still "committee ready"

From previous posts it looks like they start calling once they update online status. This is so nerve racking...

Well i just got my acceptance letter( I did not recieve a phone call or email) and it says you must get approval to get your acceptance deferred, it says that deferral may be up to one year from admission or from initial application. I would advise you to call the school during business hours, to get more information.

before I got my acceptance email, I received an email stating all students will have a response by 11/30.

There should be another email after that. UMSON releasing of decisions seems complicated.

Have many people heard back about baltimore campus? It seems like everyone on here keeps saying shady grove.

With so many people getting accepted into shady grove, I'm scared there might not be any seats left by the time they get to my application. Since people are starting to receive calls and emails does that mean spots are mostly filled up? :(

Hey !! So I'm stressing out big time and I'd love to hear your HONEST opinions on if you think I have a chance to get in. So I went Juniata College and I graduated with my B.S. in Mathematics in 2009 however my GPA was only 2.7. I've completed/completing my prerequisites at Community College and I have a 4.0 GPA Currently. I received an 87 on my TEAS and I've been a CNA since 2009 with about 4 years of work experience. Please tell me what you guys think, I'm going crazy having to look at my phone every 10 min while also seeing other getting their letters and phone calls. :sorry:

You seem to be a well rounded student to me. At least you have actual experience. I only have volunteering and internship experience. The internship doesn't even have direct patient contact existence. You seem to have a better chance of getting in than me. But then again it's not like we know the minds of the admission committee. If we did, we wouldn't be worrying so much. :) I'm just glad I have back ups.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me :). Sadly I've thrown all my eggs in the UMSON basket lol. But I agree with you , I have zero idea what's going through the committees mind. I just wish I could either receive my rejection or acceptance soon.

I wish they would at least send an update on their progress so we know where they are at. If grey lady wasn't here we wouldn't know anything.

But don't worry, you can always reapply. This is my second attempt. My first attempt was only two schools. This time I applied to three to better my chances.

Fingers crossed that we will get in. Maybe we'll here something tomorrow. :)
