I'm starting this thread in hopes of meeting other hopefuls for the Fall 2018 BSN program at University of Maryland School of Nursing. I've submitted my application, just waiting on my Official Transcript from Towson before I submit the supplemental papers for my application. I've also applied to Towson University. Feel free to share your stats as we all ride out the wait together. Good luck to everyone!

My status changed from admit institution to accept applicant. I turned in all my prerequisites. I want to know whether this means I will be 100%sure to get in the program? is there any other possibility I will be dropped? I don't feel safe unless I start the class.

@vivo2018 have you accepted and paid the deposit? If so, the only thing that may cause a hiccup is if they find something in your background check. Otherwise you're in.

I don't think I will have problem on my background, vaccine and drug test. Really can't wait to attend orientation, is there anyone attend shady grove's ice cream social on June 1st?

That is a good idea. I'm attending Shady Grove. I'm in mid 30s with two kids, one is 7, one is 4.

Did anyone's status change to confirmed? I'm provisional admit, so it says "provisional-admit-confirms"... And Lauren (student mentor/advisor) called me the other day, and i received my official school email, so now I feel like it's really real lol. Im a little too excited

Mine says confirmed as well. How did you set up your UMD email?

did anyone log in Castle Branch to order compliance document ? When I filled my student information, there was a question about classification. i don't know what should I fill in the blank ? The options has fall 2017, spring 2017, spring 2018, I couldn't find fall 2018. Another question is: do I need finish my TB test and flu vaccine before I order compliance document ? Thanks.
