UMSON Fall 2018

I'm starting this thread in hopes of meeting other hopefuls for the Fall 2018 BSN program at University of Maryland School of Nursing. I've submitted my application, just waiting on my Official Transcript from Towson before I submit the supplemental papers for my application. I've also applied to Towson University. Feel free to share your stats as we all ride out the wait together. Good luck to everyone!

Me too gpa wise.

82teas

3 years as cna full time

Almost 1 year full time clin tech at INOVA

(Yup two full time jobs)

And volunteering weekly for a company (food&friends) that delivers meals to those with aids cancer and other life effecting health issues for 7 years

This was my second time applying to UMSON

I got waitlisted too but i will be putting in my acceptance to GW

My overall gpa - 3.4

prerequisite - 3.8

Teas- 94.7% 99 percentile

I did research in undergrad & have been working as a CNA since 2012 .

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted ; we're about to start an awesome journey !!

I got in!! Found out around 1:00pm. I applied to Shady Grove, my last name starts with a B.

Congrats!! So ur status never went to committe ready? Did it just go to complete ready for review to provisional admit?

Thanks! It said both committee ready and complete ready for review at the same time. Now it says decision made and provisional-admit.

I got accepted too, shady grove campus. I checked it around 1:30pm. My last name starts with letter Z. Congratulations to you all ,and good luck to those of you who are still waiting.

I think admission office will call us to inform us first, then they will send us letter to help us deposit money to reserve seat and set school account.

Congratulations on your acceptance. Thank you very much for your info, I actually just called them and they told me to go to the accepted students page, fill a form to accept the offer and make a deposit of 400 dollars. Too bad it is mandatory to pay this amount.

We can accept the offer even though we haven't received official acceptance letters yet?

Just got an email that I was waitlisted. Hopefully everyone gets their decisions soon! I wasn't sure if I would have gone if I got in. I live in northern maryland, and the community college I attend has a Towson university building on its campus, so I can work on my bachelor's and associates at the same time, so MD wasn't my first choice, I'm not bummed or anything.
