Who is applying?
I have a B.A. in English from years ago. However, I had to take all of the nursing school prerequisites over the last 2 years. My GPA for these is a 3.94 (I got one B, in nutrition, but otherwise a 4.0), and I was in the 99th percentile for my TEAS test. I think it was overall a 93 or 94%. The waiting is the worst!! Good luck--I hope you hear back soon!!
Yep, I did accept the offer. I'm currently taking pathophysiology online at UCLA and I'm also going nuts trying to find a job so that I can come up with the money to buy all the books and other materials! I had noooo idea going into nursing school would be sooooo expensive!
And I'm happy with Salisbury because it's a short and condensed program (only 3 semesters!). And as overwhelmed as I feel right now, I get so excited knowing that by December 2015 I'll be a RN!! I just keep repeating that to myself and it keeps me pushin!
I'm still waiting. The optimist in me still has a small sliver of hope. The realist in me knows there isn't much of a chance, so it's time to pursue other options.
I say do both!! Keep UMD on the back burner and wait for a response but in the meantime look at other options! That's what happened to me! I was in the process of applying for a full time job so that I could save up for CNA classes and was about to be interviewed when Salisbury called me!

I was waitlisted in April and I received a phone call yesterday offering me a spot. Although it has not been an easy decision, I turned it down for several reasons. I have already committed to go to a different school, also with a BSN program; the commute is far for me as I have 2 school aged children; and the cost. I am very sorry to turn it down. I would like to go, but for me, it is for the best. I hope that one of you receives a call in my place! Good luck!
