UMSON fall 2016 hopefuls ?

Hello all, I am planning to apply to UMSON in the fall 2016. I haven't seen a thread yet for other hopefuls and potential candidates. So I wanted to start one.

It's funny I find myself looking back at last year's thread and there's this person with the username "nover" who heard back wayyy later than everyone else. Like everybody had their decisions one week then nover had to wait 3 weeks more with "Committee Ready" as their status to hear back... Knowing my luck, I wouldn't be surprised if I was the one this year to wait that long

@Kayrock Hahah I was seriously going through the old threads too and trying to see how long it takes for decisions lol Instead of focusing on my current classes. :/ It would be great if they could let everyone know at the same time.

Last time I had to wait this long to find out I was rejected I really hope they have a good amount of spots left. I made sure to apply for the CNL program before the rolling decision deadline so I'm FREAKING OUT right now. hang in there guys!!! hopefully no one has to wait as like as nover from last year lol

Chinar37, I was in your position a few years ago. I didn't get accepted to a traditional BSN, so I took the ADN route. Now, 2 years later I am a working RN and have just been accepted into the UMSON RN to BSN program. I will get a BSN from UMD after all but it wasn't the way I originally planned. HCC has a great program. You will learn all the skills you need to enter practice and be able to work right away. Most hospitals pay for you to continue your education too so you may even get your BSN completely paid for this way. Best of luck!!

Hey guys! I just checked my status and I'm Waitlisted. Not so surprised, as I already had the feeling I would be. Quite disappointing, waitlisted twice in a row haha, just my luck.
