Hi all! ?
I am making this thread for all UMSON DNP candidates for Fall 2021! I'm applying to the Family NP option. Anyone else applying? Good luck to all!
My application has said Committee Review since 1/11/21. I was thinking I would be contacted by now for interview. Does every accepted candidate get invited for an interview? Do they accept students without one? I applied after the November of 1st deadline because I saw on the program website they were still accepting applications. Thanks

According to their website at https://www.nursing.umaryland.edu/academics/doctoral/DNP/
They have the following:
It seems that everyone must go to an interview process prior to getting accepted or wait-listed.
Maybe you could reach out to Admissions Office to check the status of your application?
I’m starting to feel that way too but I am telling myself if I don’t get an interview it is due to their space constraints and because I applied in early January. The website said they were still accepting applications so I had everything in 1/4/21. On 1/11 it changed to committee review but crickets since then. I know I am not alone but on paper I believe I am an ideal candidate. I am certified in psych and have inpatient, outpatient and Psych ED experience. I also have one year of ICU. Looks like I will be going with a cheaper MSN option.

jt2288, I am cheering for you, and hoping it is just a matter of time too, for them to grant you guys an interview!
