Just got confirmation that my application is complete and ready to roll for the UMD CNL Spring 2017 application term. Anyone else on here applying?

Sept 8. I couldn't make the earlier ones in person and I opted for in person rather than Skype. They said it wouldn't make a difference as to the decision, so I hope that's true. If it is though, then I expect that means no one will hear until after all interviews are complete..

oh ok. yes I opted for in person as well. For the others sake, I hope they don't have to wait until then to find out their admittance status. My thought is the department must be taking a vacation/break during the month of August...which is why we all have to wait so long...

@futureRN84 Are you saying you had an interview during the last cycle but didn't get accepted into the program?

So I just got a link to the writing assignment? I thought it was during the interview? Hmm maybe because my interview is so late? Ugh now I'm kind of worried. I wonder what the criteria is for the writing sample. If it's like the GRE writing sample where you have to defend a position or analyze an argument then I am NOT looking forward to this! :/

@Bmorehealthy, I received my writing assignment link as well and I feel the exact same way...NERVOUS! the writing sample is always done at home prior to the interview. when are you going to do yours?

So, without undermining the process and mental breakdown that everyone else went through, I can and will say that the writing sample is NOT college level stuff.
