  1. I live here in Baltimore already, if anyone has questions feel free to ask, I'd love to help! I don't seem to get notified when anything happens on here though, so I joined the Facebook group and that's a better place to reach me faster.
  2. Hi Bumbleface! I live in Baltimore so feel free to ask me questions!
  3. Hahahahah you can have my pin and password that they erroneously sent me lol. And awww thanks! I'm sure we will cross paths - Baltimore is small!
  4. Aaaaand I got rejected Hopkins it is. Best of luck to you all!!
  5. I haven't yet but she knows I have other offers. And Hopkins gave me a pretty big scholarship so we'll see. I like that you come out of UMD with as CNL though...
  6. Nope, no update. I'm thinking since I haven't heard from UMD I might just accept Hopkins' offer so I can start planning.
  7. Hi all! I'll be there Nov 4 as well. Also, I live in Baltimore so if anyone has questions just message me! Is the Facebook page up?
  8. It still says committee ready :/
  9. So I got a pin and login info email from UMD's IT center, but it said its not a letter of admission. Huh? Then why do I need a student ID? Anyone else get this?? Perplexed...
  10. Congrats!!! That's so awesome!!!!!!! Did they say what they were looking for? GPA? GRE? I'm still waiting to hear.
  11. Thanks! Yeah jhu is good...but pricey. Crossing fingers and toes about this interview at UMD
  12. Has anyone heard anything about scholarships or grants?
  13. Oh good! I actually got into Hopkins and I have to give them an answer soonish so I'm hoping to hear from UMD before then..
  14. Agh I just interviewed this morning and I'm not sure how I think I did. My answers were maybe a little repetitive. And they told me 3-6 wks for a decision! Ugh! Did it take that long for you all?
  15. Yes a car will be very helpful but not required until later I think. Baltimore isn't like DC or NYC with great public transportation...we mostly rely on busses. You can live close to school and walk, and Hopkins has a lot of shuttles, but I don't know about clinicals, if you get a rotation in a suburban hospital or something it might be tough without a car. Also tough doing things like getting groceries by bus. Sometimes supermarkets are close enough to walk to but you'd have to walk through bad areas to get there so it's not a smart option. Maybe their shuttles go to the shopping plazas though, I don't know...
