Hi, future nurses!!  Has anyone applied to the UMSON CNL program for Fall 2021?

Have anyone tried to get in contact with someone from the university? I’m going to try to get in contact with someone tomorrow.

Hey so I called once I got off work but I couldn’t get through to anyone so I will try again tomorrow much earlier than today. You should see if you can get in contact with someone as well. That way we could compare what’s being told to us.

Hey everyone! 

I applied a looong time ago, in October. I had my interview Mid-February. When I interviewed, they said at the time they were interviewing priority applicants (those who applied by the priority deadline of Feb 1st) and hadn’t even started interviewing regular applicants yet.

Also, they said the wait to find out if you’re accepted or not is about 4 weeks from your interview date (that was her best guess).

Hope this helps! I know things are going slower than they had hoped. Initially their website said interviews starting in January, then they changed it to starting in February.

Everytime I send them an email and ask all they tell me is that they’re still reviewing applications and to just wait for the email for an interview. They tell me that every single time.

Hey so I called once again today and I couldn’t get through so I used the chat line they had open. & pretty much the same thing they told you they told me as well. She said they were still reviewing applications and if you get invited for an interview it will be via email. Also she said to keep checking the application portal for any other updates

Thanks! It seemed to go well. The lady who interviewed me was very nice. It was pretty conversational with some typical interview questions. Tell me about yourself, why nursing, what are your time and stress management skills like, etc. There was also time at the end for me to ask her questions about the program.

Me too! I’m hoping to hear something sooner rather than later.
