UMSON BSN Spring 2014

Hi everyone! I created the BSN Fall 2013 topic, but I couldn't apply at that time due to family issues. So now I'm applying for Spring 2014! Anyone else applying? :]

Whoa, I remember the UMSON reps at my cc's transfer day saying decisions may be out as early as end of october, but october 4th?! That's crazy. Well, I guess it's time to wish everyone good luck! CMG, did you also apply to the same bsn program, have you heard anything?

Ohhh. It turns out she didn't send in all of her materials so that's why she probably got early rejection.

I'm also getting so nervous especially after knowing that your sis has rejected. Tell her not to give up. UMSON is an awesome campus. She can reapply for Fall 2014. I'll do the same thing if I'm not accepted now. Good luck to every one!!!!

I probably won't sleep soundly again until I hear their decision, regardless of what it is. The waiting game is torture!

I just signed up for the advanced patient care tech program at my community college as a back up for spring. That way I could get some experience on the front of patient care and reapply for fall. Figured I'd create a plan B, should the cards not be in my favor this application cycle.

Luckily I am in my last semester of pre reqs so I at least have something to focus on in the mean time. Good luck to all of you, glad we're all in the same boat and I'm not alone!

I'm EXTREMELY nervous. I just got accepted into Montgomery college's nursing program.....and I have until Friday to make a decision. I want UMSONNNNN so bad!!!!! It sucks that they take forever to make a decision. I'm getting nervous.

Bummer on that, cmg! That's a toughy!

Can you say yes and change your mind later? I'm guessing you might lose the deposit they ask for, but that might be worth finding.

If you accept and pay, maybe you can still wait. Don't you have the option to change your mind? :nailbiting:

I know we probably still have another month of waiting but I'm seriously beginning to freak out. And I'm not even that type of person! Ugh I don't know how I was so calm when I applied to schools in highschool.

Haha! The application process does seem more brutal as I get older. I don't remember being this anxious back when I was applying for college the first time around.

I'm not freaking out yet, just impatient! I'm from a generation of instant gratification after all!
