I applied for UMSL's accelerated nursing program for the Summer of 2016. I should be receiving my letter soon, and I'm pretty sure I will get in considering I have a 4.0 GPA. However, I'm nervous as to what the program will be like. I know it will be stressful and fast paced, which I'm prepared for, but I want to know what to expect. Will I still have time for family or my boyfriend? I plan on living on campus and I want to enjoy "college life" since I've been going to a community college and living at home for the first two years. Will have time to do fun college things? I like that the accelerated program is faster and less expensive, but is it worth it? Can anyone tell me their experience of either nursing program at UMSL?
Thanks! :)

Hi Sarah!
I applied for the ABSN program at UMSL for the summer 2016 program too! Awesome GPA! I have a 3.86 gpa. I'm so nervous about receiving a acceptance/denial letter. Which probably sounds crazy to some people.
Currently, I am a tech at Mercy hospital. I see Accelerated and traditional nursing students from umsl in our department all the time. I hear it is pretty intense. No life for 15 months. I also heard that the traditional route is not a piece of cake either. Every person has a different experience and outlook on the situation.
Hopefully we will find out soon! :)
