Hi everyone!
I just got my acceptance letter and am super excited!!!
So I wanted to post and see who some of my new friends are going to be! Let me know if you are accepted and I'd love to chat with you!
Hey guys, does anyone know if you can transfer campuses at UMDNJ once you get in? I've been looking for an answer to this for a while, but no one seems to know. I got accepted to Stratford for Summer 2010, but for personal reasons can no longer move to South Jersey. Does anyone know if they allow tranfers into Newark? Thanks so much...
hello!
I suggest calling Mae in Newark (phone number is right on the website www.sn.umdnj.edu under admissions and speak to her for more clarifying information. Best wishes!
Hello! I am one of the nurse recruiters for School of Nursing. If your GPA is less than 3.0, (but close to a 3.0) and your prereqs are stellar, you maybe considered for an interview after your information is sent to the Admissions commitee. Best wishes!
I was reading in another thread that the director of the program said they will not accept students with undergrad GPAs under 3.0 under any circumstance.. I'm worried, because I'd imagine that what she says means the most, right?

Hi golfinrican:
I had a 3.25 in my first degree. 4.0 for all the pre-requisites that I had to take.
One word of advice if you didn't know this already: do not plan to work while in school, NO TIME. Do not plan on: getting married, having a baby, building a house, etc. while you are in school as it is stressful enough without those added stresses.
One other suggestion - make sure you understand and have your financing arranged before school starts. Inability to get that together caused a few folks who were accepted this semester to drop the first week (after all their hard work of getting accepted!).
Keep on top of things with the student enrollment people as they sometimes "misplace" things that you know were sent.
Good luck!!
