UMDNJ Accelerated BSN Spring 2012

Published

Hello!!

Did anyone apply yet? I submitted my application and documents in, but NursingCAS is a bit annoying. I had to call them several times about them claiming to not receive all the pages from my references :uhoh3: How are you guys making out with the process?

"the second packet contains an information sheet that tells you how to set up your online accounts with UMDNJ, when orientation for your campus is, and the curriculum that you'll be following."

I sent out my check for the tuition and criminal background check. And then received my second packet through the mail. The second packet provides instructions on how to activate our computer accounts and it also includes our curriculum. I found out my university i.d number by activating my computer account. I advise you to call the school to find out why you haven't received it. And orientation will be Thrusday, December 1, from 8 a.m-5p.m. I read in the pasts post that we will be taking our teas exam on Dec 1st. Does anyone know anything about this??? Do we have to register to take the teas exam.....so much to do lol!!

TheDreamJourney, I've also read on past UMDNJ threads that we take a TEAS exam as part of orientation. I don't think we have to register for it, I think that it's just part of orientation for everyone. From what I understand, it is only given to give us an idea of what our weak points are before we begin classes - it doesn't have any bearing on our place in the program or anything. :)

Thanks amwpillai! :nurse:

Cool BSN, they have made a decision on only 10percent of applicants but of them, how many spots did they fill?? Thats the real question! We still wouldn't know if they even have more available spots....

Coolbsn, thx for sharing the info. I think is still early, in the previous threads there have been acceptance letters sent 1 week before the school starts, soas long as they dont reject my application I am hopeful.

Bsn to be, we will keep our fingers crossed :-)

Also, like nurse 2013 said there is not a lot of students in this thread (comparing it to previous threads) so it could be a good sign

BSN to be, I believe that, they made decisions on %10 qualified students, so probably they also rejected many applications who was not qualified applicant.

Now,just accepted and qualified applications on their plates.

Also, many accepted students would not register in to UMDNJ, because they also aceppted some where elso too.

So, who did not received rejection letter from the admissions, still good to go!!!! NO NEWS IS STILL GOOD NEWS ;)

Thats true! No news is definetly good news.

Has anyone heard of anyone who got a rejection letter??

For those of you who got in, how much money did you have to pay to reserve your spot?

BSN to be, it was $300 for the tuition deposit and $85 for a criminal background check fee.

Yes, I know 3 people already received their rejection letters about 2 weeks ago.

Non refenduble Deposit is $300 and $85 for security back ground check=$385 must be paid by October 19th.

Do you know what they got rejected for? Is it because they didnt meet the criteria of the BSN program?

I have no idea, why they have been rejected.

But, I know one of those 3 applicants and she has 2.44 over all GPA, with many grade "C"'s and "D" s on her transcript and she has no health care experience on her back ground.
