Hello!!
Did anyone apply yet? I submitted my application and documents in, but NursingCAS is a bit annoying. I had to call them several times about them claiming to not receive all the pages from my references How are you guys making out with the process?
BSN to be, give them some time. You will get in as long as you have met their requirements. It was exactly two weeks on friday after they had sent me the email confirmation. Today they were reviewing it. I don't think they will be mad, I have read in the previous threads that applicants have called the school numerous times. Call them!
BSN to be, if you have already been told that they have received all your information, then I wouldn't call. Calling them just because you're anxious doesn't make them go any faster or make you feel any better - and they probably hate getting the "Have you decided yet?!?!" phone call 100 times a day. But if you don't know whether or not all your application materials have been received by the school, then I would call to make sure that my application was complete.
TheDreamJourney, what do you mean by appropriate box on your taxes? Is there a certain space on your actual tax copy that you have to sign, or are you talking about the UMDNJ financial aid authorization form? I just got all my copies today so I don't want to send them out if I've signed something incorrectly. :)
BSN to be, you're saying that you had to send additional material (letter from the dean of your school) to UMDNJ. Did they confirm that they received this letter after you sent it and then told you it would take 2 weeks? I would not worry about the extra week if this is so - I find that schools often miss the mark when giving you approximate wait times. If they have confirmed that they have received all your application materials, including the letter, then I would just sit back and wait.
However, if they have not confirmed that they have received this extra letter from your dean, I would call and make sure that they got it.
hello amwpillai. for each tax return there is an appropriate line/box that you have to sign. i signed on the wrong line/box causing my status to be "not received." i now have to fax everything all over again. i had sent my mothers tax returns and mine as well. i called the financial aid office and they told me where i have to sign. i have to sign on the first page of my tax return and my mother on the second page of her tax return (i guess for everyone it's different). if you are unsure of where you have to sign i suggest you call the financial aid office and ask them where you have to sign for your specific tax returns. do you know what year we have to put for the authorization form? because under class year i put 2012-2013, but i think i was supposed to put 2011-2012. they told me i filled it out incorrectly....so i have to sent it out again too ..what did you put under class year??
