UMDNJ accelerated BSN Fall 2012

Hey guys,

I received my acceptance letter last week for the ABSN program that starts in the fall in Newark. Is anyone in the program or planning to attend in the fall? Would love to hear from future classmates so we can keep each other on top of things !!

NALC was such a GREAT program to get me prepared for the intense semesters!! (med-math and med-term!!!!! A huge help to go through every level!!! especially..we get med-math exam at beginning of every level in which you must pass with/above 90. they let you retake it if you are below 90 but its better to pass on the first time to save time and effort!)

I am currently almost 3/4 done with umdnj ABSN!!!!!! (started in Fall 2011..done this december!)

Hi everyone!!!

In the terminology book, which comprehensive post-test are we supposed to complete? Is it the "Practice Exercises"? I'm just confused because the answers are right there in book. I'm thinking maybe the tests are in the CD? For some rreasons, my CD isn't working.... PLEASE HELP...

Highlyfav,The orientation letter just says to read each chapter of both books and then do the post chapter tests to be handed in during the first 7 weeks of level 1. If you're unsure what tests they're referring too, I would just ask someone at orientation :) I'm still waiting for my books to come in the mail, so you're well ahead of the game!

Thanks BeccaBSN. I only have the medical terminology book. CD isn't working :-(. I'm still waiting for the other book. Hopefully, we got them soon. Thanks a bunch....

Hello all! My name's Kelly and I got accepted ABSN Newark fall 2012. I have been trying to call and set up my TEAS since thursday and I haven't gotten anything but voicemail despite multiple attempts each day. Anyone have another number or a similar problem? I finally just left a voicemail asking for a call back.

Congrats Kelly!! Try emailing *****ToS please respect privacy and not post staff names in forums*****Shes a lot easier to reach by email than by phone. Are you in Nalc ? I think if you are they automatically schedule you for july 16th.

thanks for the idea, mar2012! i emailed her and hopefully i'll hear back. i was away on vacation when i got the information packet so i am a bit behind putting in all my paperwork. i did recently send that form agreeing to nalc though, so hopefully they can still fit me in on the 16th for teas.

ps all, i found and joined summerlovin54's fb group for umdnj absn newark fall 2012 by adding /

groups/433956923302293/ to the end of the address on my home page. might be easier to coordinate together using that.
