Hey for anyone who was wondering you can pick up the official book list on the 11th floor of the nursing building ...we just got it today in nalc

Hey rt90! We didn't cover any material today. They pretty much just answered our general questions about the program and went over the nalc schedule, attrition and drop out rates...things like that. One thing she did mention is it wouldn't make sense to come to only a few sessions of NALC.... so if you can't attend every session they dont recommend that you participate in nalc... but of course it is up to you :) If you have an email I can forward you the nalc schedule

Hey guys I'm having trouble finding the practice exam for the TEAS on the ati website. Is that where it's supposed to be? I tried putting in my ATI ID but I just got a message saying invalid activation code...anyone knows where the practice test is?

Congrats Kelly!! Try emailing *****ToS please respect privacy and not post staff names in forums*****Shes a lot easier to reach by email than by phone. Are you in Nalc ? I think if you are they automatically schedule you for july 16th.

Highly fav I just got the medical terminology book in the mail and the only post tests I see already have all the answers ...so Im kinda confused too

Yay June24!!!! Nalc is supposed to be a prep program to help you with time management skills, note taking skills, medical terminology etc... From what I've heard you get to meet with faculty and students from previous semesters. I'm not sure exactly when the program starts . Did anyone get an exact date? I was told its supposed to start around mid july.....and I think on the first day we'll also be taking the TEAS exam...which tests you on basic math science and english skills. From what I see there are at least 5 different facebook groups that were created for the fall 2012 but I cannot find any of them. I don't know what's going on. p.s : Higly Fav I'll be attending the NALC program too!!!

Professor Napierkowski said right now the tentative start date for the program is july 16th and we'll be taking the TEAS that day. I was hoping to work as much as possible this summer I didnt think it would start that early ..so I'm still debating :uhoh21:

Hey Omyragrau, I hope you get the good news soon!!!From what I've seen from previous years UMDNJ sends out letters til late August so you still have plenty of time and plenty of hope :) !!! Don't stress too much Llhawk you must have called the same lady I did because she pretty much hung up on me lol and when I called back she transferred me to some other girl who wasn't too nice either but actually somewhat helpful. She said umdnj had its own separate financial aid form to fill out with a promissory note or whatever its called lol. So I'm going to do that now ...oh and in regards to loans she said not to worry about that til at least 30 days before we start school because if we do it too early our credit will expire too soon (whatever that means).

Hi Violala, I have a BA in biology, Rutgers, 3.6 . I finished my app around mid April. LLhawk I've been waiting to hear from financial aid too but haven't received anything other than the admissions packet. Hope we hear back soon I'd like to get started on the loan application process, I dont know how long that will take:uhoh3:

Congrats :yelclap: It caught me off guard because on the website it says they wouldn't review applications until after the deadline and on the phone I was told not to expect an answer until the end of June ..but oh well Do you know when the program officially starts I can't find anything about that

Hey guys, I received my acceptance letter last week for the ABSN program that starts in the fall in Newark. Is anyone in the program or planning to attend in the fall? Would love to hear from future classmates so we can keep each other on top of things !!
