UMD CNL FALL 2018

Hi guys! I know it's a little early... but just wanted to start a thread for those who are applying to the UMD CNL program for fall of 2018. I just submitted my application!

GREs were optional for JHU - recommended but not required. I'm in the same boat....really struggling between JHU and UMD...but a good problem to have!

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted and good luck to everyone else who is waiting. :)

Did they post on SURF or email that you are not accepted?

I still waiting and already discouraged!!

Double check your email. They sent me an email saying I wasn't accepted then 5 minutes later they sent another one saying the e-mail was sent to the wrong recipients and to disregard it.... what an error haha

Yes I got the email about the rejection and then check SURF

I got the email that said I wasn't accepted (though my SURF status said that I was), followed by an email saying "Urgent" and saying sorry, this email went out to the wrong people, followed by an email from my admissions counselor, apologizing for the "not accepted" email.

That is so not a good look. You are messing with people's emotions here lol but thankfully it was a mistake for you. Im excited for Gerogetown knowing that there is a reason for everything

In recent years, I have heard of several universities having things like this happen, though it mostly seems that what happens is that universities send out "Congratulations! You are accepted!" emails to the wrong people, and then have to backtrack and say, oh, sorry, that was a mistake.

In any case, @Aapage87, Georgetown is an amazing school!

Yes it is an amazing school. I'm sure I will have a great experience. Have you decided where you will be going in the fall.
