  1. I called the school right after the waitlist intent form was due and I moved up 8 seats, to 82, because 8 people didn't respond with their intent forms. They informed me that there are 60 seats for spring. I anticipate more people dropping as they find out other programs they get into. Either way we got in!
  2. I think so too. Im actually pretty patient with this. I want to save as much as I can and get mentally prepared
  3. Hey! I got waitlisted at #90. I am in county with all of my prereqs done. I would suggest saving any money that you can. I obviously don't know your situation but I work full time and calculated how much my classes would be just so that I could get a ballpark range. I'm really excited to start this program because I want to pay cash and be debt free!
  4. I didn't get in either. I checked SURF then got the email. Good luck to you all!
  5. Congratulations everyone! I had my application complete on Jan 18th and interviewed on Feb 28th and haven't heard anything. Trying not to get anxious lol
  6. Hey! I work at the Medical Center across the street as a Patient Care Technician. I work with CNLs and there are numerous opportunities. As with any nursing degree you will have to start as a regular nurse. From what I've heard from my coworker, you learn to take on leadership roles but ultimately you have to work as a nurse first. Hope that kind of helps.
  7. hi everyone! my status/decision changed to "committee ready" as of yesterday. i currently work at ummc and can see the nursing building from my unit. i think that keeps me hopeful lol a lot of my coworkers have gone through the program, are currently in the program or are currently in the dnp program (which i hope to do the second i finish the cnl program!). i have high hopes for all of us!
  8. oh ok! that's awesome. I just checked my app and the decision is "committee Ready". Not too sure what that means but its an update so ill take it lol.
  9. K i finished applying on the 18th and my app is in the "complete ready for review" status
