UMB Spring 2010 Applicants (BSN or CNL)

Published

After following the Fall '09 thread with great interest, I thought it might be time to start a new thread for the Spring '10 applicants since we're inching closer to the Sep 1 deadline. I have a technical question for those who have applied before. I submitted my CNL application online this morning and paid the $50 and now it seems like my application has slipped into a vortex that I don't have access to. When I log onto SURFS to check my status, the only option that it gives me is to submit a new application. Is there somewhere else on the website that I should be looking to confirm that my application has been submitted and is pending review or awaiting additional information (transcripts, recommendations, etc)? Perhaps there is a delay between when the application is submitted and when the status is visible?

Best of luck to all the other applicants...now the agonizing waiting game begins! Looking forward to giving each other support and encouragement on this thread.

Are they going to call and tell us if we DIDNT get in ?! My phone is not ringing. I am losing hope

Hang in there, beachit! And when you get your call, get off quick so they can go on to the next one. And for goodness sakes, post!!:redpinkhe

Are BSN student being called or only CNL?

How long do you think this calling is going to go on? How long did you stay on the phone with them?

Beachit - it was a quick call. I was told that I was accepted, a package will be mailed with info about orientation, classes, etc., and was reminded that I need to send in my transcript when I complete my last pre-req in Dec.

Hang in there - I am sure that more than one person is making calls!!!

Good Luck!!

Congratulations! I got into the CNL program too, though I will not be attending. UMB was my #2 school, mostly based on location (I live in DC). My #1 school (in DC) accepted me, so I've already accepted there and sent them my deposit. I am going to keep UMB in mind for my MSN though because they are such a good school. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for keeping us sane Grey Lady:redbeathe
