I will be applying for the Fall 2011 program at UMB really really soon. I was wondering if anyone else was doing the same...? I'm really nervous about applying because Anatomy really kicked my butt last semester and I ended up getting a C (even though I ended up doing really well on my other science courses). Now, I'm losing hope. Anyone feeling the same?
Thats pretty cool that it works out that way, but I don't think I put my original question into a proper context. I was really just wanting for all of us to get to know each other, give apt advice to those new to the area and the like. I guess we could start another thread like in past cycles to keep the clutter down in this forum.
That would be great! Or someone may start a Facebook page.
Hi Grey Lady! Do you know if they are only doing acceptances right now, and after everyone who was accepted gets notified, then they will start with the waitlists and rejections? Or are all updates going up at the same time? Mine still says committee ready so I'm getting less and less hopeful...

It's too early to give up hope - don't do that unless your status changes to Rejected. It's a messy business, as hard as we try to make it organized. And right now we have no way of knowing how many offers will be rejected, which also impacts the next round of updates. I had two yesterday - one of whom checked the wrong campus and another who did not realize she'd have an hour commute. When those two slots will be filled I have no clue. Hang in there and best of luck.

Thanks so much for the info! I will try to stay positive until I hear anything for certain! :)
