Has anyone else applied to the UMass GEP program? Sounds like they are scheduling interviews next month.

@HCE2014 small world w/ your fiance's job! I would definitely look more at the halfway point so you don't have to split up if that is an option. I was finally able to visit campus on Tuesday and that made it all real for me. I loved the facilities and ran into some second year students that I was able to chat with that also gave me really positive reviews. I sent in my deposit this morning! I think I'll also be looking at moving between Boston and Worcester (We've talked about Framingham specifically), although we may look closer in for the first year. I'm getting excited!!!!

Hey HCE2014, I got accepted into Emory as well. I haven't been able to decide between UMW Acute and Emory PNP yet. Was wondering what made you go towards UMW instead of Emory?

I found out I was accepted! I have a few questions directed at anyone who can help. The tuition cost is a lot! I'm out of state. Does Umass help with the cost of tuition in any way? Has anyone gotten a reduced tuition? What about scholarships? There's a great organization that will actually pay for tuition if you commit yourself to working in a health shortage area, but it's not available for direct entry students! My biggest concerns now are finding a place to live and paying for school. If someone could provide any info on this, it would be much appreciated!!

Hello everyone ... I too will be attending the GEP program at UMass ... and have many of the same questions... I am moving from Pa and am having issues with housing... I have small dog who will be coming with me... if anyone has a suggestion where the best places to live is, I would greatly appreciate it. ... also anyone willing to put up with a small hypoallergenic dog and needing a roommate please contact me... trying to decide between a one or two bedroom ... thanks all
