I am a 25 year old female with a bachelor's in Finance. For the past two years I have been working as a Medical Assistant, and have been working on completing my nursing pre-requisites. I finished them at Bunker Hill with a 3.7 gpa. My undergraduate gpa is 3.1. Yesterday I sent in my application to UMB's Accelerated Nursing Program. I think my essay was decent and my recommendations pretty good.
I was wondering if anyone who has applied had any advice/comments about UMB's program.
-When did you hear back for an interview?
-Did people who got an interview ... generally get into the program?
-When did the program start? It says summer but it also mentioned something about May?
-Those of you who were accepted .. how is the program going?
Any comments would be very helpful. Thank you .. I know people are busy.
I was wondering the same thing. I'm thinking maybe it's not decided yet or maybe we'll get to choose. I can't believe one of the classes requires 6 books!!!! All I see is $$$$$ signs...lol!

I bought all my books. I mostly bought them used at Alibris or AMAZON. I bought two at Barnes and Noble because they were cheaper. It cost me a little under $300 for all 9 books.

Also ... I am so confused with the E-mail **** sent us today. I signed up for classes and ended up with the following schedule:
T 9-12, 1-7:30
W 9-12, 1-4
Th 9-4
but now she's saying the lab for NU351 will be 1-7:30. So are we going to be in class until 7:30 T and W? I don't care, I just was wondering if she MEANT to write Tuesday.
Anyway ... what else guys? Are you all excited????
Hey! That's great you bought all your books and under $300! I just started looking and will buy mine soon. Totally confused on that email too! I already registered and I think my schedule is the same as yours. We don't get too many choices. I am so excited and can't wait to start! I got my uniforms already and I got the loan. I'm just waiting for the school to get it together. I need to know how much they'll disperse to me each semester so I can figure out my bills ect.
