UMass Boston Accelerated BSN 2014

Didn't see a thread made for this program. Still waiting on any sort of notification from them about decisions. Anyone been in contact with admissions? This is my #1 school, still waiting on Northeastern, and I got waitlisted at MGH. Still have to apply to UMass Amherst and Curry.

Congratulations to everyone accepted into a program! I am a prospective student for the May 2015 start date. I have 1 prerequisite course to do before I can apply to UMass and other Boston based Accelerated BSN programs. Is anyone aware if UMass will accept an anatomy lab course done online? I have taken Anatomy lecture, Physiology lecture and physiology lab. I'm missing only the lab portion of human anatomy. Thanks!

Husky 2011, did you receive your letter? My status changed the same time as everyone else's as well, but I haven't received anything yet so I'm in the same situation. I'm hoping that only acceptances were mailed with the first batch but who knows. Congrats to everyone who's been accepted!

No, I thought it would have come by now, but still no letter. I do live in Seattle, so I am thinking there must be a delay of some sort, but I am honestly getting quite nervous.

Hi guys! Sorry I'm joining late, but I just received my acceptance letter a couple of days ago too!

Last week when I logged onto the portal where you can check the status of your application, on the "To Do List" section, there was an item labeled "Deposit Fee." It was frustrating because I didn't know if that meant I got in, but then I got my letter a couple of days after that!

After reading through the materials, we have until May 1 to send in our deposit, right?

Cherrierri: May 1 is what I saw too. However it looks like class scheduling opens March 15 so maybe the sooner we make the deposit, the sooner you get to schedule classes? Also has anyone talked to financial aid? I'm trying to figure out how to do the FAFSA to cover this summer and next fall. And how to do the FAFSA for this undergrad ABSN and graduate direct entry programs. Haven't made my decision yet!

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! I actually just received notice that I was waitlisted. Does anyone know anything about the waitlist process, and how many people they usually accept off the waitlist (if any at all)? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you!!

For those of you asking about the deposit, the email I received from Kerry Boyd said that March 1st is the deadline for deposits.

First time posting here... Received my acceptance letter to the Accelerated BSN program at UMass.. Just wondering if: 1. anyone received any financial aid info yet? 2. anyone knows the official start date? I see the orientation is mid-May but wasn't sure when classes started...

Don't know if anyone is coming back to this forum since the application process is over, but just wanted to say congrats to everyone who got accepted and best wishes to everyone else like myself who is still waiting for this or other schools!!

@Lexielou22 At the information session, they said the start date would be immediately following memorial day weekend, which is the very end of May.
