UMass Boston Accelerated BSN 2014

Hi,

Didn't see a thread made for this program. Still waiting on any sort of notification from them about decisions. Anyone been in contact with admissions? This is my #1 school, still waiting on Northeastern, and I got waitlisted at MGH. Still have to apply to UMass Amherst and Curry.

I'm waiting too! I also applied to Northeastern so I'm waiting on that one too. I haven't wanted to call UMass admissions yet since I know with the extended deadline of Dec 1, it really hasn't been that long yet. Maybe I'll break down and call later this week. It's slowly been agitating me, just over this last week. I just want to know! :banghead:

I called admissions today and a representative told me they're sending out decision letters in "chunks", meaning not everyone will get theirs at the same time. She also said she couldn't comment on the significance of the timing, but some have already been sent out.

Do they change online status before sending out mail? Is it a good sign to get letter earlier?

Hello, I also applied to Umass boston for the ABSN Summer entry 2014 program. So, have they already finished sending out decision letters then? I was under the impression that they would be notifying around March or so? Or was I mistaken?

I can't speak for anyone else but myself, but my application status has changed. I would assume yours would too once they make a decision and are getting ready to send out letters. As I said before, the representative couldn't comment on the significance of the timing but some are in the process of being sent out now. She said definitely expect an answer this month or next.

My online status changed too. It seems that it still could take two whole weeks to get the letters for students living in MA after the online status changed. Keep fingers crossed, good luck to everyone!!
