UMass Boston Accelerated BSN Summer 2017

Hi Everyone!

Was wondering if anyone applied for the ABSN spring 2017 cohort at UMass Boston. It would be great to hear from other people about your pre requisites and experience. Hope to hear from you!

I got my acceptance today also. Talk about an early Christmas present!

My stats were teas:91.3, prereqs: 3.9 and undergrad: 3.3

Congrats! That's so exciting- thank you for your stats!! I believe mine are- previous Bach GPA 4.0 in respiratory care. Prerequisite GPA 3.775 (if I calculated it right), teas 63.3 - have been a RRT for about 8 years and been in the air national guard for 9 years. Merry Christmas to everyone!!

did everyone who received an acceptance letter have a change in their application from "this application is complete"?

Congrats to those accepted! I haven't heard anything yet and my status hasn't changed from "complete," so I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not. Aaa! Those of you who heard back already, where are you located?

I'd love to hear soon! Fingers triple crossed.

I haven't heard anything and no status change either! I'm really nervous this means I'm either waitlisted or didn't get in.

I had originally thought we weren't supposed to hear until mid/late January but I came home to my acceptance letter last night! So excited. Good luck to everyone!

Did your status change before you got your letter?

My status changed to something along the lines of " A decision has been made and a letter will be mailed out within 14 days"

I really have no idea when mine changed, I hadn't looked at my portal in a couple weeks. But it did say that a decision had been made and I'd be hearing by mail within 14 days.

My status just changed on my application page!! Should have an answer within 14 days.. does anyone know if Umass Boston offers scholarships with their acceptance letters like MGH IHP does? Or scholarships at all? Thank you in advance - keep everyone posted on whether or not I'm in - waitlisted- or denied!! Good luck to everyone else waiting.
