I got my acceptance letter on the 24th too! Super excited! I also got accepted to Northeastern and I am still waiting to hear from MGH, but I am probably picking Umass Boston!

Hi,

i was wondering what exactly it said online when your status changed? Could you tell from that if you were accepted or not?

My online status changed to this: A decision has been made regarding your application. You will receive formal notice in the mail within 14 business days. Thank you for your interest in attending the University of Massachusetts Boston.

I received a letter of acceptance before I even checked my online status and even after the letter - my status online never changed to admitted or not admitted. It still says the same thing as above. I guess you only find out via a letter. So once your status changes, you must wait patiently until you get the letter via snail mail to know if you are accepted or not. Good luck!!

@deanna1959 @ruthc Mine was the same as Ruth's- it didn't say whether I was accepted or not. However a "To-Do List" popped up with the item "Deposit Fee", as did a section for financial aid. I've heard from other accepted students that it happened to them too but I'm not sure if it actually means anything. Good luck!

hey guys how's it going? congrats to all that received acceptance letters. i received a letter today and was waitlisted. waiting to hear from a couple other schools as well.

anyone know what's the story with the waitlist? what are the chances of getting a spot? or should i not keep my hopes up?

I believe the deadline for the deposit is in Feb. So after that deadline I'm sure some spots will open up!

Hey everyone! Finally decided to join the message boards after just observing for awhile lol

I got my acceptance letter on Dec 28 and am so excited!

Has anyone been able to get any information on the estimated tuition cost for out of state students? I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone and have spoken to the financial aid office, the bursars office and admissions!

I calculated based on the cost breakdown on the website and got around $85k, I'm hoping there's no way that's right! I could be coming from Florida so the snow is enough of a shock for me lol

I am a Canadian so I received an information package for a student visa and estimated tuition costs. It was estimated to be about 45k, so I can't imagine your out of state cost would be more than mine.

Hey Everyone! I was accepted to the program in December as well!!

I am wondering if anyone knows anyone who has been in the program and what the schedule was like? I have the schedule that was in the power point at the info session, but wasn't sure if the clinicals were examples or if we would actually have clinicals every day? I am trying to figure out daycare and things like that!
