That's sorta what I'm thinking. Has anyone actually received a "denied" status or only the admit and referred? Wait listed doesn't mean a definite no though!

I'm wondering if those of us who still say"department referral" are the ones who are wait listed? Hope not. Good luck everyone!

USF BSN & ABSN Hopefuls Summer 2015
Did anyone else get an email in regards to registering for nursing orientation? I know decisions haven't gone out yet but I thought it was a little strange that I received an email congratulating me on choosing USF and that I need to register for the nursing orientation!

UMass Boston Accelerated BSN Summer 2015
Hey everyone! Finally decided to join the message boards after just observing for awhile lol I got my acceptance letter on Dec 28 and am so excited! Has anyone been able to get any information on the estimated tuition cost for out of state students? I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone and have spoken to the financial aid office, the bursars office and admissions! I calculated based on the cost breakdown on the website and got around $85k, I'm hoping there's no way that's right! I could be coming from Florida so the snow is enough of a shock for me lol

Confused about schooling!
Hello! I am very interested in working with babies as a nursing career. I've found several different nursing choices, including mother/baby, neonatal, and postpartum. I am most interested in working with the babies and mothers after delivery, but am willing to work in any of the areas I mentioned before. My question is, how do I get started in something like this? I am in my senior year of highschool, and will be sending in different applications soon. I have read on some sites that you need to complete four years of college to begin a nursing program/college, and I've read on others that you can go directly from highschool to a nursing school. I have been looking at UCF (University of Central Florida) for college, which also has a nursing program. However, I am also looking at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences. Can anyone in the Orlando area, who is a baby nurse help? Basically what I'm looking to know, is how do I go about getting into the baby nursing programs? Thanks!
