@towersoverme congrats and thanks for joining lol. I am a Canadian so I received an information package for a student visa and estimated tuition costs. It was estimated to be about 45k, so I can't imagine your out of state cost would be more than mine.

I believe the deadline for the deposit is in Feb. So after that deadline I'm sure some spots will open up!

Oops!!! I just realized that u are all individuals who applied for the fall start in 2015 for the traditional program. I applied for the summer 2015 start for the accelerated program! Haha ignore my previous message-my acceptance was early on because the program starts in May hopefully, you all hear something soon!!

My online status changed to this: A decision has been made regarding your application. You will receive formal notice in the mail within 14 business days. Thank you for your interest in attending the University of Massachusetts Boston. I received a letter of acceptance before I even checked my online status and even after the letter - my status online never changed to admitted or not admitted. It still says the same thing as above. I guess you only find out via a letter. So once your status changes, you must wait patiently until you get the letter via snail mail to know if you are accepted or not. Good luck!!

I wrote the TEAS on Nov 26 2014. I used both those books and also the TEAS V secrets study guide by Mometrix. I got all three books from Amazon with a package price. I read all the study pages/notes and also made notes for areas that personally gave me a hard time - such as Grammar. I did not spend much time with the math or science since I felt comfortable with those two areas already. So look at your own personal areas of strengths and take time to improve your understanding with areas that need attention. My biggest suggestion is to do ONLINE computer practice since most of the exams are done on the computer. I only did pencil and paper and the computer exam messed up with my timing and when I would go back and verify my answers. The options of the M/C would randomize its sequence which made it hard to check my answers! Also, the options were not named as A, B, C or D. (adding to the frustration!!) I dedicated about 2 months to studying. I did ALL the practice tests and timed myself when I did them and kept myself free from any distractions. Treating it like an official exam. From the exam, I got over 88.7% overall (advanced). I got 90% over all sections except for English/Language/Grammar which was 80%. The test was not that difficult - with proper preparation, of course. Always make sure you read the questions CAREFULLY and don't let your nerves get the best of you. Good luck!!

I just got my letter a few days ago. it was unexpected and an amazing Christmas gift lol. Congrats to all who also got accepted!! I just stumbled upon your post and excited to meet other people that are going to be in the program!

Hi, I applied to U of Mass for the August 2015 start. I am a Canadian and I wrote the TEAS in Ohio. I received a letter of acceptance a few days ago. So I guess they are sending them out rather early. I was surprised I got it in the mail so soon. I hope you hear something soon!!
