Hi Everyone! I noticed there have been threads about this topic from past application years and figured I would start one for this year. The application is due on December 1st, has anyone applied yet?

Did you submit it yourself or did you have the reference submit to them directly?

So I saw your post this morning and checked my own application: I have the same update!! I also have two extra tabs, a 'Holds' and a 'To Do list'! I daren't say it out loud lol, but this looks like the news we've been waiting for!! I wish it said it more clear, like 'congratulations on the acceptance' or whatever, but this sure looks like 'this is it', it even says it!

I just received the same message on my application- "Congratulations! This is it. Click below to seize your moment at UMass Boston. Be sure to return to your myUMB portal regularly as more Next Steps become available." I also have the Hold and To Do List. I have been updating all morning and finally saw a change!

@gopats1234 I applied October 27th and my application was officially listed as complete around November 19th (I had to send them my transcripts a few times before they were finally received) Hope this helps and good luck !! :)

Mine also says "Congrats! This is it..." I just dropped off my transcript for A&P2 this morning. I hadn't checked it before I did that. I can't imagine they already met on it because I was told my application would just be on hold until they got that transcript. Does anyone know when letters are usually mailed?

Yeah I am not really sure if "Congrats This is it" means we are accepted. I really wish it is more clear in what it means.

Just called the admissions office- the woman said that the committee met yesterday and decisions will be mailed out Friday. With the holidays we should hear back late next week :) Also the portal we are checking is primarily used for fall start students that's why its a bit cryptic and there's no links to click. So it seems we shouldn't read into the change in status on the portal because it might not mean anything. Good luck everyone and Happy Holidays :)
