Hi! 'm a registered nurse in the Philippines but I have not yet practiced being a nurse yet. I am currently working as an English tutor, teaching Koreans how to write a decent academic essays. I came upon an agency wherein they employ Filipino RNs without experience and even those who have not yet passed the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam, as students. They are to take NVQ 1, 2, 3 and 4. I was wondering how many working hours can a student visa holder work as a carer and how much does it pay for a month. Is there a chance for me to become a nurse in the UK?I am really interested in studying again in order for me to work as a nurse in the UK. Please help me.

student visa - you can work 20 hours a week carers recieved usually minimum wage only

nursing in th UK - you will require 2 years post registration experience to register with the NMC and for the borders agency to issue a work visa you will need to work in one of the shortage occupations, which in nursing is now only a few specialities
