UK RN to New York

Hello fellow nurses. I am currently 4 years out of nursing school and working in Australia in Paediatrics as a RN. I did my BSc in Adult nursing in London. I am wondering if there are any UK nurses who got licensed in NY. I have just applied for the CGFNS last night. I understand I may need to do maternity ect. Second question anyone know of any schools in NY or the USA that offers this?

Hi, my partner is still in Uni but she is finishing by January.. She did some placements in Sexual Health Clinic which she took care of Paeds about sexual health. She still has the chance to go community placement. Can someone reach out to help us her NY application once she qualifies? We are targeting NY in the future. I got my approval for the NCLEX!

no need to do any extra study ect

straight from a UK adult nursing degree for new york state

I applied with my adult nursing degree from uk to CGFNS then applied to NY nursing board and got my approval. No extra courses ect

What documents did you send to CGFNS?

The norm process that you would do. So my nmc uk nursing licence and my australian nursing licence and my uni from uni sent transcript.

Congratulations Charlie! That's great. I've just had my University send my transcripts for a 3rd time after a lot of kicking and screaming. Tracking shows the CGFNS now have them (thank the lord) so just waiting for their feedback.
