Hi to all UK RN aspirant, as a one myself, I would like to invite my fellow filipinos who reside in Manila to maybe be my study buddy for the OSCE (Test of Competence part 2) Exam in the UK. This exam is scenario based and maybe we can benefit in doing a lot of practice and sharing of ideas. I do have a couple of resources such as OSCE books and online resources that I can gladly lend. I'm currently in the Assessment stage, I passed the CBT last week. Just want to know how is your process going? Are you done with the Assessment stage with NMC? Do you have a scheduled OSCE already?

Hi everyone. badly needed some help. I got frustrated when I didnt made it on the old scheme. it was a looong frustrating process for me. Anyway, as part of the new process I amplanning to take the CBT this coming May. I really dont have an idea of what to study. Please help me out. thank you so much.

Hi! I've noticed that almost all of you here are in the process of assessment. Maybe you can share your experience with regards to completion of this stage. What are the forms that you had submitted through a courier to nmc? Does it include th diploma, transcript of records and ielts? And did anyone of you had physical examination for the declaration of good health? Thank you

Hi! Im on the assessment phase of the new overseas registration and frm what Ive heard here, OSCE has just started this month tho the test center opened last Nov 2014. Its been a month since the NMC received all of my documents including my online forms but there are no updates as of now. Ive talked to someone before whose application has been evaluated already unfortunately she has replacement documents so she has to wait for another 3 to 4 weeks again. Theres noone I know so far who is about to schedule his OSCE. I hope this helps.

This waiting game is torture.

Hi! Congrats on passing the CBT :)

You have to send the two Overseas Employment Reference forms directly to them and your declaration of good health. All barcoded forms are downloadable from your NMC account. Additionally, you should give the transcript of training form to your nursing school and ideally they should send it directly to the NMC as well as the verification of your professional license from the PRC. I strongly suggest that you use DHL or FedEx so that you can track all of your documents and it is relatively fast and secured.

thank you for the information. I still have some questions in mind. Regarding the reference form, do I need to attach a reference letter to it? And is it ok if I will be the one to send the transcript of training form to nmc together with the employment reference and good health?

As for me, I only had the reference forms accomplished by my referees. Make sure that they put the title "Nurse" on whatever position theyll input in the forms.

hi. do u have any idea how much is the medical exam in manila? does it include the ppd? because my friend said it is 7000 php in manila yet i went to the accredited lab in cebu and it is only 1000 php.
